I received an sms saying "The cellphone number on your Standard Bank card profile has changed to 074********. If this is incorrect contact us urgently on 0861201000." I later received a notification for a transaction which I'd made (correctly) which suggests that my number was not changed. I also couldn't find 0861201000 to be associated with any Standard Bank call centres. This seems suspicious to me - don't trust it!
