“Text about an appointment for a meter. I do have an appointment with British Gas but the text did not state it was from them, so I called their Helpline. It is not their number. Potential scam as it asks you to confirm or CHANGE DATE, but as I said it did not show as British Gas. Reported to the line that monitors scam texts to investigate.”
