“woman with foreign accent (?Philippines?) talking very fast wants me to tell her my name address and postcode. When I asked her, several times, to say who she was and why she was calling, claimed to be from Virgin Media, I have no way of knowing if this is true. I said she already had my address (but wouldn;t say what it was) and wanted me to confirm it. Asked for my date of birth, I said "what do you want that for" and she said shealready had it so I didn't say. That is all very aggressive and suspicious. Said they would install a new TV decoder box for me free of charge. I did not provide any account details and did not agree to pay anything. This is just the sort of call that a scammer or fraudster would make. I am expected to let somebody into my house after that call. very poor practice from Virgin (if it really is them, how would I know?)”
