NoCall Free vs Pro: what each plan includes
NoCall has a free, ad-supported plan and a Pro plan. Both use the same community database of 24 spam numbers. The difference is mainly in what happens when a spam call arrives, how the database stays up to date and the extra tools you get.
What the Free plan includes
- Number lookup: Search any number and read the community reports and comments.
- Reporting: Report spam numbers so others are warned.
- Spam identification: Known spam calls are labelled on iPhone and announced with a notification on Android.
- SMS filter on iPhone: Texts from reported numbers can be moved to the Junk folder.
- Manual sync: You update the database from the app whenever you want.
- Ads: The Free plan is supported by ads.
What Pro adds
- Automatic blocking: Known spam calls are blocked or rejected before they ring.
- Automatic sync: Daily, weekly or automatic background updates of the database.
- Advanced call rules: Block number ranges by prefix, including international ranges, and create custom patterns.
- No ads: Pro removes ads from the app.
- Family protection: Receive consent-based alerts from family members who also use NoCall.
- Extra tools: Additional SMS filtering rules on iPhone and optional AI analysis of suspicious messages and screenshots.
How much Pro costs
Pro is bought inside the app through the App Store or Google Play. The price and the available options are shown in the store for your country before you pay.
Which plan should you choose?
If you mostly want to know who is calling before you answer, the Free plan already does that. If you receive spam calls every day and prefer them never to ring, or you want the database to update by itself, Pro is the better fit.
