“Got an sms and a call from this number asking me to confirm transactions on my account (the transactions in question were online PSN purchases and no OTP was generated) I was promted in the SMS to respond and the voicemail said to call the above number. I rather called the number on the back of my card and the lady that eventually answered said that that does not seem to be a std bank number as theirs start with 0861, not 0800. very suspect”

“I got 2 calls from this number this morning, automated calls, after i used my standard bank card. they said there is suspicious activity on my account, they asked for me to verify my ID no, I dropped the call. I then called standard bank and they said no calls were logged on my name and my account is fine. that i shouldnt answer the call or give ANY of my information. I called the suspicious number back and they say its a fraud line, a call center comercial! imagine! i gave him a piece of my mind and dropped the call. Vultures”
