“Everything about BGas Homecare and boiler service chase up is a scam and operated by scum. The engineer will "visit" for annual service that's not due and lower your boiler/system pressure almost doubling your annual costs. Then after the boiler breaks (lower pressure causes leaks) they will "offer" a boiler at 1.5 times the normal cost. Same thing with electrics. Report this number to police.”

“They took ages just to say hello at the start of the call. Sounded like they were having trouble with their equipment to connect to the call. Always a sign of a scam/place using poor tech/both. I said hello three times before they said hello. Caller then claimed to be from British Gas and offered to install a smart meter. They also had my mum's name, so they're likely an ex employee of British Gas that's stolen customer details. Once I said we weren't interested in a a smart meter they hung up without a word. Not what a real company would do. Avoid this number.”
