1. Acceptance
By accessing or using NoCall, including nocall.io, the NoCall iOS app, the API, reports, comments, statistics, guides, number pages, and support services, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of the service
NoCall is a community platform to identify spam calls, phone scams, suspicious SMS, and unwanted numbers in Spain. The service may include:
- Search for phone numbers, companies, prefixes, and operators.
- Community database with reports, categories, comments, and aggregated statistics.
- Call blocking on the phone using features allowed by iOS.
- Filtering of suspicious SMS on the device.
- Reports for spam, telemarketing, scam, debt collection, harassment, surveys, or other categories.
- Manual or AI-assisted review to improve classification and moderation.
- Free ad-supported plan and Premium features validated by Apple.
- API, documentation, guides, informational pages, support, and ads on the website.
3. Permitted use
- Consult information to decide whether to answer, block, or report a number.
- Submit genuine, useful, good-faith reports and comments.
- Use the app to protect your own device or devices authorised under the plan.
- Use the API according to documentation, technical limits, and applicable authorisations.
- Share links to public NoCall pages without altering their content.
4. Prohibited use
- Submit false, manipulated, defamatory reports, or reports intended to harm third parties.
- Publish personal data, illegal content, threats, insults, or third parties’ private information.
- Use bots, scraping, unauthorised automation, or bypass limits, ByteGuard, or other anti-abuse measures.
- Attempt to access internal systems, exploit vulnerabilities, or interfere with the service.
- Resell data, clone the database, or use NoCall for commercial purposes without authorisation.
- Use the service to harass, discriminate, impersonate others, or commit fraud.
5. User content
Reports and comments may become public and appear on number pages, statistics, listings, or analysis. You remain responsible for what you submit and grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, moderate, analyse, and use it to improve NoCall.
We may hide, edit, or delete content that breaches these terms, is irrelevant, appears false, contains sensitive data, or creates legal or security risk. We may also restrict devices, IPs, or accounts that abuse the system.
6. Accuracy of information
NoCall combines user reports, public sources, technical signals, internal review, and automated analysis. Information may still be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. A number marked as spam may belong to a legitimate business or person, and a number with no reports may still be dangerous.
Use NoCall as an informational and preventive tool, not as definitive confirmation or legal, financial, police, or cybersecurity advice. For crimes or scams, contact the competent authorities.
7. App, blocking, and SMS
Call blocking and SMS filtering depend on iOS, device permissions, user settings, available data, and Apple’s technical limits. We do not guarantee that all unwanted calls or messages will be detected or blocked.
SMS filtering runs on the device. Do not publish or report messages that contain sensitive personal data unless strictly necessary and you are authorised to do so.
8. Premium and purchases
- Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms.
- NoCall does not receive card data and does not directly control Apple refunds.
- Premium features may include improvements such as no in-app ads, automatic updates, range blocking, or family use, depending on the version.
- We may change Premium features for technical, legal, or product reasons, keeping reasonably equivalent functionality when possible.
9. Advertising and third parties
The site may show ads via Google AdSense and use services such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Intercom, ByteGuard, Cloudflare, and Apple. These services may apply their own terms and privacy policies. Ads do not imply endorsement of advertised products.
10. API and automated access
Any API, endpoint, or integration is subject to limits, authentication, availability, and specific use rules. Mass data extraction, bypassing quotas, sharing keys, or using the API to create services that substantially reproduce NoCall without authorisation is prohibited.
11. Intellectual property
NoCall’s brand, design, code, interface, original texts, guides, and visual elements belong to Byteguard Sociedad Limitada or its licensors. Reports and comments are community contributions to the service and may be shown publicly under these terms.
12. Availability
We do not guarantee continuous availability. We may modify, limit, suspend, or withdraw parts of the service for maintenance, security, technical changes, legal requirements, abuse, or product decisions.
13. Limitation of liability
NoCall is provided “as is” and to the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for report errors, false positives, unblocked calls, outages, decisions based on displayed information, third-party ads, or misuse of the service.
14. Privacy
Data processing is explained in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For consumers in the European Union, mandatory rights applicable in your place of residence will be respected.
16. Changes
We may update these terms to reflect new features, providers, legal changes, or service adjustments. Continued use of NoCall after changes are published means you accept the current version.
