“This is a scam. They claimed my mother had suspicious activity on her account and then kept her on the phone for several hours trying to get details about her accounts. They managed to get enough information to do a Western Union wire for $500, which we luckily caught before it went out.”

“I've worked for Wells Fargo. All of their numbers, even for employees end in 9-3557 (Wells). This seems very sketch”

“Called claiming to be James Love from Wells Fargo Bank Fraud Dept. Stated he saw some suspicious account activity from Malasia, but refused to give the last four digits of the card affected. When I asked "if I were to call the number displayed on my caller ID and ask for you ...", he hung up. As a Wells Fargo customer, I know for a fact the fraud dept doesn't call from a branch in NY.”
