“Got a call today at 1:44 from what I thought was BOA. It was a middle eastern accept person using if I used Zelle and my BOA Acct to authorize two separate charges. I did not. Ask me for specific information regarding my account. Knew this was a scam as I have several business accounts with BOA and that is NOT how they conduct security question information. Please do not fall for this scam.”

“I received two emails, one requesting me to verify my email for a new account and another authorizing the creation of a new account with the last six digits of the account number and a link. The first email provided a contact number, which I called and spoke to a lady who confirmed my details and closed the account as fraudulent. She sent another email with a link to Identity Theft Recovery. Although some sources suggested it was a scam, the number listed on a promo contact sheet from BofA's website proved to be legitimate. Close any fraudulent accounts and secure personal information.”
