“This evening (@6:55pm) got a call leaving a voicemail message claiming a charge on my BOA account and wondering if the charge was valid. I don't have a BOA account and don't answer calls from unknown persons anyway. Checked to see who the number belonged to and found it was supposed to be BOA fraud dept. Since I don't have an account, I assume the number was spoofed”

“Received snail mail, Tax Statement for Year 2024. This statement reports 1099-INT to Dept of IRS Interest Income Statement Form for $.57 with phone number - 1-866-213-4074 from Bank of America PrePaid, Historic New Castle, DE. (Bank 02322), TIN-0000. I think it's a scam as I doubt a prepaid card gives interest for federal tax returns nor do I think I have any outstanding Prepaid cards. Ignoring just in case”

“def scam.. do not, I repeat, DO NOT give out your info... the no even shows up as "Bank of America ATM" I picked up and they said there was a new card opened under my name and someone was trying to use the card. If you are still not sure then just ask them what are my other card no.... they wont be able to answer. or just don't pick up this no.”

“Googled the number online and saw this number in a pdf from "BoA". It turns out the pdf is fake. Indian accent saying I opened a credit card in Beijing China and am authorizing a 5000 payment”
